Oljā Sāvičević Ivānčević wās born on 16th September 1974. in Split, grāduāted in Croātiān lānguāge ānd literāture on university of humān sciences in Zādār. At the moment she is finishing Māsters degree in literāture. Writes poetry, short prose, essāys, literāture critic. Editor of ā number of young āuthors ālmānācs, ānd ālso croātiān pārt of ānthology On the third squāre which represents young āuthors from Bosniā ānd Herzegovinā, Croātiā ānd Serbiā ānd Montenegro.
For her poetry ānd stories āwārded from childhood, so her first book of poetry It will be terrific when I grow up āppeāred when she wās only fourteen. After, she published two other poetry books, Forever children (1993.) ānd Femāle script (1999.).
First book of stories To māke ā dog lāugh (2006.) wās āwārded ās the best unānnounced mānuscript for the āuthors under thirtyfive.
This yeār she plāns on publishing ā collection of poetry Soundtrāck for stowāwāys. Some of her poems āre trānslāted in English, Mācedoniān, Sloveniān, Slovāk ānd Czech.
